What happened to 2024??
I realised it had been a while since I wrote a new blog post, but I’m shocked that it was so long ago that 2024 is completely missing from the blog!
A lot changed in 2024 so I’ll see if I can summarise it briefly:
January: book-making, slow stitching, pottery painting, willow weaving, mending workshop, tapestry weaving, beachcombing, birthday celebrating.
February: Sunsets, self-care, spring flowers, post-meditation full moon, stitching workshop, garden visitor.
March: First date sunset, tidy workspace, play exhibition, amaryllis, felt workshop, tree hugging, Ed, exploring Ayrshire.
April: Glen Coe, travelling, Oban, blank canvas, bargello stitching, more sunsets, new hair, garden playtime
May: Garden making, wild flower picking, sunset chilling, Alloway exploring, first rose sniffing, meet Halo.
June: Favourite roses blooming, tomato growing, Potfest pals, Potfest purchase, making myself at home in Troon
July: Island hopping, home making, Sheils’s perfume, sunset rainbow, Mull of Galloway, studio envy, slow stitching, London baby!
August: Finished cushion, garden fun, tummy scritches, Gigha, ferry fun, Kintyre, Crinan.
September: Upping the garden game, Kyles of Bute, ancient oak, fabulous food, musical with my gal, Bute beach, ferry hugs, Port Sunlight rose.
October: Garden visitor, Dunure sunset, finished object, garden aurora, garden flowers, new office space, sunset over the firth of Clyde, a greenhouse begins!
November: afternoon light Prestwick, hydrangea wreath, still blooming, a cold day in Killearn, greenhouse construction, greedy starlings, Glen Sannox, frosty night.
December: Breezy walks, afternoon sunset, lilac twilight, playing, big waves, Christmas morning, Gravitas returns
So that’s it, 2024 in a nutshell! More to come with the highlights of the first few months of 2025.
